2027 VU Research Fellowship Program

The Victoria University Research Fellowship (VURF) program supports researchers to undertake high-quality research that strengthens  research performance, builds capacity, attracts external funding, and contributes to research impact and engagement.

Before commencing your application, please ensure you:

• Have read the VURF guidelines available on the Research Fellowship SharePoint site.
• Meet eligibility requirements.
• Have reviewed and updated your Researcher Performance Framework (RPF) information and relevant source systems: InCites, Elements, ORCID.
• Have discussed your proposed application with your ADRRT or research leader where appropriate.
• Have notified your Supervisor/Line Manager of your intent to apply?

PLEASE NOTE:  Please ensure your RPF is complete and up to date by the application closing date.  Changes made after the close of applications will not be reflected in the profile information provided to the Assessment Panel.  

Applications will be assessed on merit against the published assessment criteria.  Assessment will be informed by both:

• Information provided within the application; and
• Relevant information available through the Research Performance Framework (RPF), including validated research performance data.

Applicants should avoid duplicating information already available through the RPF and instead focus on providing contextual information, future plans, and other information specifically requested in the application.
